You are far from the only one. It is becoming more and more likely that we will have a deadlocked Democratic Convention in 2008. The two remaining Democratic candidates for President are battle-scarred and have failed to unite the party. The prospect of John "100 Years War" McCain in the White House is rightly regarded with real fear. We need a candidate of extraordinary talent and judgment to bring us together and lead us to victory. We need Al Gore.

Real People, Real Voices

We are a group of ordinary Democratic voters organized to promote a letter-writing campaign to the super delegates. Our goal is to let them know that there is a groundswell of popular support for the nomination of Al Gore for the Democratic Presidential Candidate in the event that there is no first-ballot nominee.

1. Spread the Word.

This is truly a grass roots effort. We are not affiliated with any national organization or fund-raising effort. We depend on our members to spread the word of this campaign to like-minded individuals. Please send a note to everyone in your contact list to let them know about our efforts and direct them to this website. A short, personal note works best. Please include a link. 2. Begin writing to the super delegates.

We have prioritzed the super delegates to be contacted, from our top contact, former senator George Mitchell, through our Core Group, Foundation Group and finally all super delegates from your state. In selecting these super delegates to be prioritized, we have taken many factors into consideration, including stance on endorsing, influence, stature and connections.
